Hello everyone!
Those who attended the trip to the MD Renaissance Festival yesterday, I hope you enjoyed it! It was quite rainy, cold, and muddy, but there were still plenty of things to enjoy. At the very least the company. Be sure to thank your drivers if you haven’t already, and if you didn’t get a chance to go this year, keep the date in mind for next year! We’ll probably be going at about the same time. If anyone has any questions/comments about this year’s trip, do not hesitate to send them to the club email.
In the meantime, the club is back to its normal business. There will be another Historical Fencing Seminar coming up this semester, which will be announced as soon as dates are settled.
Also, there will be a New Fencer Tournament coming up on November 1. We will be holding practice a bit earlier that day to ensure that the tournament is finished. This tournament is for anyone who has 6 months or less of fencing experience. This is a fully electric tournament, and the club will provide any equipment you do not have.
Fencers with over 6 months experience, worry not! We will also be holding a full club tournament with no experience restrictions later this semester, so keep an eye out for announcements.
